Master of Laws (LLM) is the two-year postgraduate law degree taken after LLB or BALLB, with specialisation in fields such as constitutional law, criminal justice, commercial and corporate law, international law or human rights.
The course is research heavy, with seminar papers and a compulsory dissertation, and it is the usual qualification for law teaching, judicial service preparation and specialised legal advisory work.
