Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is a studio-based degree in the visual arts, with specialisations that usually include painting, sculpture, graphic or applied art, and sometimes traditional Nepali arts such as paubha painting.
Most of the timetable is practical studio work, supported by drawing, art history, aesthetics and, increasingly, digital design tools. Students build a portfolio and hold an exhibition of final year work.
Graduates work as artists, graphic and visual designers, illustrators, art teachers and studio owners.
