Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) is a five-year professional degree that qualifies graduates to practise as veterinarians in Nepal.

It covers veterinary anatomy, physiology, pathology, medicine, surgery and public health, together with animal husbandry subjects such as livestock production, poultry, dairy and animal nutrition. Clinical rotations and a compulsory internship run in the final year.

Graduates register with the Nepal Veterinary Council and work in government veterinary services, dairy and poultry industries, private clinics and livestock development projects.
