Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag.) is a four-year professional degree covering agronomy, horticulture, soil science, plant protection, animal science and agricultural economics.
A large share of the course is practical: farm work, field experiments, and a supervised rural placement where students live and work with farming communities.
Graduates work as agriculture officers in government and local bodies, with agro-input and seed companies, cooperatives, and development projects, and many go on to M.Sc. Agriculture.
