Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc MLT) trains the people who run diagnostic tests: blood, tissue, microbiology and biochemistry work that doctors depend on.

The four-year course covers clinical biochemistry, haematology, microbiology, immunology, parasitology and histopathology, with long laboratory hours and a hospital internship.

Graduates work in hospital and private diagnostic laboratories, blood banks, public health laboratories and research institutions, and register with the Nepal Health Professional Council.
