Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a four-year degree covering pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, formulation and manufacture, quality control and pharmacy practice.
Nepal has a sizeable pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, so laboratory and industrial training are a real part of the course, alongside hospital and community pharmacy placements.
Graduates register with the Nepal Pharmacy Council and work in manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, hospital pharmacy and medical sales.
