Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is a five-year professional degree, one year longer than other engineering programmes because of its design studio requirement.

Studio work sits at the centre of every year: sketching, drafting, model making and increasingly digital modelling, supported by building construction, structures, services, history of architecture and urban planning. Most programmes include measured drawing and site documentation trips.

Graduates register with the Nepal Engineering Council as architects and work in design firms, construction companies and municipal planning offices.
