Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (BE Civil) is a four-year degree and the most widely offered engineering programme in Nepal.
The course covers surveying, structural analysis and design, concrete and steel, geotechnical engineering, water resources, transportation and construction management, with field survey camps and site visits built into the schedule.
Demand comes from road and building construction, hydropower, water supply and local government engineering offices. Graduates register with the Nepal Engineering Council before practising.
