Master of Business Administration

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two-year, semester-based postgraduate management degree offered by the leading business schools under Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Pokhara University and Purbanchal University.

Teaching is case and discussion based, with specialisations commonly available in finance, marketing, human resources, banking and information technology. Most programmes require an internship and a final project or thesis, and several run evening classes for working professionals.

Admission is competitive: a written entrance test, group discussion and interview, with work experience preferred or required by some schools. Executive MBA variants are aimed at candidates with several years of management experience.
