About us
Khwopa Engineering College (KhEC), an undertaking of Bhaktapur Municipality, is Nepal's first community-based engineering college established in 2001 AD in affiliation with Purbanchal University. The college was founded with the vision of developing Bhaktapur as a center of excellence through engineering education while providing affordable, quality higher education to students from all economic backgrounds.
The college is dedicated to producing engineers and architects with strong theoretical knowledge, practical skills, professional competence, and ethical values.
