About us
Established in 1980 AD (2037 BS), Kailali Multiple Campus (KMC) is one of Nepal's largest community campuses and has played a pioneering role in expanding access to higher education in the Far Western Region. Initially affiliated with Tribhuvan University, the campus became a constituent campus of Far Western University in 2021, marking a significant milestone in its institutional development.
KMC has earned national recognition for its commitment to quality education, modern infrastructure, qualified faculty members, affordable education, and student-centered learning environment. The campus was declared the Best Community Campus of Nepal by the Government of Nepal in 2018 and has also received the Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) certification from the University Grants Commission.
