Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management (SMSH), established in 2002 and situated in Lainchaur , Kathmandu, is Nepal's first teaching hotel school. Affiliated with Queen Margaret University, UK, the college offers internationally recognized programs such as the BA in International Hospitality and Tourism Management, BA in International Culinary Arts, and MBA in Hospitality. SMSH emphasizes hands-on learning through practical training, industry exposure, and international internship opportunities. The institution also operates Papillon Rose, Nepal's first French fine dining restaurant, along with the AHA Barista Training Academy, providing students with professional culinary and barista training in a real-world environment.
